It all started sometime around 1994 when our fearless founders decided that rather than schlepping their own cold beverages around the golf course during a nine hole stroll in the evening, it would be much more fun to further humiliate the high scorer on each hole by making them carry the refreshments for all on the subsequent hole in a totable case-sized cooler, liberally doused with ice. We can't have warm beer, now, can we?

Alas, advancing maturity (and infirmity) has brought us to discuss a less rigorous regimen.
